Ways to control and direct your thoughts: Weigh the pros and cons of becoming your best self. Picture it as easy. Picture it as worth it. Start picturing happy resolutions for thinking "solution oriented." Visualize yourself as the person you want to be like, doing the things you want to be inspired to do. Intentionally say to yourself the kinds of things you percieve a positive mind thinking. Do these things for a few minutes each day. Examples of positive thoughts: I can manage my money by myself. I can think of ways to be more independent. I will do the next right thing, every time. I will always be thrifty, let me brainstorm some things that will save me money. How much money would I save if I quit drinking? What is the worst case result of quitting drinking, the cost of quitting isn't worth it? How can I make it worth it. What things that I do make me more successful? Ask yourself questions and think of as many answers as you can. I do think its worth it to stop using drugs, and then brainstorm the reasons why, even if You dont feel them. Brainstorm them until you are willing to try a better life and feel happy. I do think its ok to go without something I want and to save the money instead. Practice establishing new mindsets within your life and perceiving invisible wealth of answers when you clear your mind and say, I believe in my own wisdom.
